Join us in raising money to ensure that every girl has the chance to bike safely and confidently through life. Pedal Power, Girls in Gear's annual fundraiser, is back. This season, we’re gearing up to empower more girls through the power of bikes. Fundraising allows us to continue to serve the over 50% of riders who receive a financial scholarship, bike, and helmet to participate in our program.

It only takes a few minutes to start fundraising! Every rider and coach already has a page. Just search for their first name by clicking “browse individual fundraisers” with the link below. Don’t have a page? It only takes a minute to set one up! Bonus: the first $2,500 in funds raised will be doubled, so your support will go twice as far.

Spread the word about your fundraiser and ask your friends to help you reach your goal

It’s time to tell everyone what you’re raising money for and why! Check our our fundraiser guide with tips and tricks to get started. After a kick-off message about why you’re raising money, outreach can be about how much you’ve raised, special thanks to recent donors, an occasional daily challenge for donations, pictures or video clips related to the project. Donors like creativity so go big!

Step 3

Complete your fundraiser and Collect great fundraising prizes

Once you’ve wrapped up your fundraiser, the money you’ve raised will go directly towards ensuring these riders and more can continue to participate. As our way of saying thank you, participants will receive thank-you gifts corresponding to their level of fundraising. Fundraising completed by July 1 is eligible for these gifts.
